Motorcycle Helmet Camera. Question about the integrity of the helmet if I mod the helmet to fit a camera?
Im wanting to add a fujifilm z20fd behind my chinbar. The camera is less than an inch thick. Like this, it presses against my nose and is uncomfortable. If i cut out about 3 inches of chinbar foam, the camera will fit and not be in my field of view while riding. I know this will effect the integrity of the helmet. My question is how much? I know helmet foam works together to provide impact protection. Ive got a lot of gear and protection, I ride fully geared everytime. I dont taek safety lightly. I know the risk of the camera, and thats why Im asking. Thank you!
